I was selected by the Air Arts team to create artworks for the upcoming exhibition entitled “ Celebrate”.

Air Arts is the arts charity for University Hospitals of Derby and Burton. It was established in 2007 with the aim of creating a calm and welcoming environment, providing support and reassurance for patients, staff and visitors, enhancing the environment and providing moments of reflection and distraction. Inspired by a photo of my own dog on his lockdown birthday, I created 3 x bright & cheerful canvas artwork’s entitled “ Party Animals”

The exhibition is a year long & is officially launched on Thursday 18th May. You will find my work on level 2 of the hospital, close to ICU.

I’ve proudly joined forces with award winning Derby gift company – Colleague Box. I’m part of a fantastic collaboration of Derbyshire businesses for their new “Taste of Derbyshire” gift box.

It is the first in a series of gifts celebrating all that is great about our local regions across the UK.

My artwork entitled “The Finest Ram” was used on greetings cards, which are in every box. These will have a message to the recipient inside them.

On Saturday 9th July at 7pm a documentary is being screened on Channel 5 entitled – “The Queen’s Horses : inside the royal stables”

Excitingly, my artwork of “Mercury” the Cavalry drum horse will be featured as part of their visit to “Dyfed Shirehorse farm” in wales where Mercury aka Celt was born. I’ll be setting record on my tv & hope you tune in too!

Between Thursday 14th & Sunday 17th July I will be exhibiting at the highly acclaimed Patching’s Arts Festival in Nottinghamshire. It’s going to be my biggest event to date & it’s certainly going to be a busy one. You’ll find me in the Painters Marquee. For more info click on this link 

As you recall I was chosen as a weekly award winner of Small Business Sunday #SBS by Theo Paphitis (of Dragons den) back in March 2021. Every year Theo holds a huge conference at the ICC in Birmingham where all the winners meet to hear inspirational speakers, for not working & to meet Theo himself. Here I am collecting my official winner’s certificate on Friday 25th February which is now framed in my studio.
