I make it as safe as we can for you and we never pass your details onto anyone else. I have a HTTPS Certificate which means our website is secure (you can check this by just making sure there is an “s” after the “http” with any website you use. The ‘S’ at the end of HTTPS stands for ‘Secure’. It means all communications between your browser and the website are encrypted.

I will never share your information with a third party. I may add you to our mailing list but in compliance with new GDPR governance (2018) you can unsubscribe at any time. My terms and conditions can be found here.

At present, I am currently in between studios. I have completed my 5 years of business incubation at Banks Mill Studios and so I am now open to finding my future creative premises.

I am currently working from my home address. However, as a continuing member of Banks Mill Studios, I can use the building as a meeting point if you wish to meet me in a formal business setting.

Another more relaxed option, is to meet at a coffee shop in the Derby area for a chat over a cuppa to discuss your commission requirements.

I am happy to make an appointment to visit you at your home to discuss your commission requirements. I am happy to travel within a 25 mile radius of Derby.

Due to my time being limited, in order to secure an appointment, I will require a small fee of £25 which is non refundable.

Yes I do. They are beautifully printed on white card and signed by myself, then placed in a clear plastic sleeve for protection. The certificates are provided with every original artwork produced, including portrait commissions.

I try my best to keep everything in stock, but sometimes i am pleasantly surprised at items’ popularity! If you find something is out of stock, then there is the option to pre order an item in the online shop. Once the order is placed, I will then email you with an estimated delivery time. The wait time depends on the type of product. If it is urgent, then add a message on checkout and i will attempt to source the item from one of my stockists if possible.

All payments are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If your issuer refuses to authorise payment, you should be notified immediately – please contact your card issuer if so. However, a common reason for this is due to the billing address details being entered incorrectly. Please ensure that the ‘billing address’ is the same address as where you bank mail is posted to.

Once you have filled in your details and confirmed your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This will usually arrive in your email inbox within 5 minutes, but may take a few hours. Please check your junk mail if it doesn’t arrive. If you still haven’t received the email, there may have been a problem with your order – please contact me and I'll resolve this straight away for you.

As soon as we dispatch your order, we will send a dispatch confirmation email to confirm it’s on its way. After this, it will be delivered by Royal Mail 2nd Class or courier and should take 3-4 business days to arrive.

Art prints
Are “ Print On Demand:”. This is the process whereby we print when an order is confirmed and after payment has been made.
This ensures that we only print what is required so that wastage is virtually non-existent. We print very locally within 1 mile ofmy studio to keep transport costs to a minimum. The paper & mounts are fully recyclable.

Greeting cards & envelopes
Our cards & envelopes are fully recyclable in standard kerb-side recycling. The printing process is done using very specific print machines, engineered to provide the most ecologically sensitive processes possible. These are toner-based engines manufactured by Ricoh which means that the ‘ink’ is entirely recyclable along with its paper-based substrate without contamination.
The papers and card that my printers use have been carefully sourced to ensure that they comply with the FSC - Forest Stewardship Council provisions. The logo is used to indicate that products are certified under the FSC system. When you see the FSC logo on a label, you can buy forest products with confidence that you are helping to ensure our forests are alive for generations to come.
As regards Envelopes – my suppliers believe that the cost and re-constitution processes involved in recycling paper into ‘ new’ envelopes outweighs any gains that might be made in reusing these for consumer purchasing. In choosing virgin products, they try to ensure that their suppliers use Forestry certificated materials and that they are manufactured in the United Kingdom. They strongly dislike global importation of products locally available.

Cellophane wrappers
Though we would very much like to use only Plant –based, starch, or other ‘natural’ protectors the cost (multiplied more than three times) prohibits this at the present time. My suppliers have investigated the properties of the polypropylene cellos that we use and have established that they are recyclable to a limited extent in that they qualify for R5 marks and can be recycled and reused along with the ‘newer’ type soft ‘plastic’ drinks bottles at most recycling centres. Some kerb-side recoveries may accept them but this is a geographically local decision. Our cellos are susceptible to heat and will eventually break down in traditional landfill environments. They try to ensure that these products are manufactured within the United Kingdom to cut down transport costs.

Packaging
We try to be as considerate as possible with our packaging but we have to balance this with the fact that our products cards are quite fragile and that you want to receive them in good order.

Bubble Wrap
The type we use is biodegradable polyethylene polymer bubble wrap rolls which break down when exposed to heat and moisture in landfill and digested by microbes leaving behind no toxic residues. Some authorities prefer the use of polymers to the loss of valuable agricultural land in the production of PLA(plant/cellulose) based products. We also reuse any bubble wrap used in the deliveries received.

Cardboard packaging
Where we can and where pricing allows we buy recycled boxes. We always re-use boxes that we receive from whatever source. We buy in efficient quantities to reduce delivery costs and charges, to eliminate waste, and keep a tight control on storage.

Cushions/Coasters/Mugs
My cushions are manufactured from a man made material that feels like suede but is fully Vegan My coasters are manufactured from wood. My supplier believes we all a responsibility to make a positive impact on the world - not just by supporting artists, but the wider ecosystem and those less privileged. That's why all their wood and card-based products are FSC-certified, and they have pledged to plant 3 trees for every purchase made from them.
