About Me
I am a professional artist with over 8 years in full-time business, based at Banks Mill Studios in Derby.
I am a proud member of both The Association of Animal Artists and The Artisan Guild.
Inspired by animals, wildlife and nature, I divide my time between bespoke commissioned portraits and creating my own original artwork. Painting is much more than a business for me. It feeds my soul, and I love creating work that captures character, connection and the beauty I find in the natural world.
My distinctive style combines detailed subjects with freer, more expressive backgrounds, colour and mark-making. Working primarily in acrylics, and more recently exploring oils and landscapes, my work continues to develop while retaining the character and detail I’m known for.
Over the years I have created significant artworks for The Household Cavalry, The Horse Trust and Derbyshire Bat Group, with my work reaching clients across Derbyshire and throughout the UK.
Original artwork, limited edition prints, greetings cards and selected homewares are available through my online shop, exhibitions, events and stockists.
