Update on Household Cavalry artwork & cards

Original artwork

I’m pleased to announce that the Original Framed Artwork has now sold & made its way to a home in the south of England. I was also delighted to discover that the purchaser’s son was one of the troopers in the painting – so I feel reassured it will be pride of place. 25% of sale is being donated to The Blues & Royals association.

Prints

I am also donating 25% of each sale of my limited edition fine art Giclee prints which are available in my shop in 2 sizes, plus a larger size on request. They are signed, numbered & come with a certificate of authenticity. All prints can still be purchased for Christmas up until 23rd December as I post them special next day delivery.

Cards

I have been informed by Captain Chris Elliott of The Blues & Royals association that all the 11000 cards that were printed are now SOLD!

Sorry to anyone that missed out.

Bat Auction result!

On Halloween the auction ended on my framed Brown long-eared bat painting. I’m so pleased that it raised £360 for the Derbyshire Bat Group. And I’m happy to report it has flew off to its new home already 🙂

The painting was very popular & I seem to have gained a few more followers because of him. Sadly only one person could win, however, I have great news.

I have produced some limited edition fine art giclee prints. They are beautiful quality, in archival mounts, signed & number by me! Complete with a certificate of authenticity. Only 100 will ever be printed.

The great thing is that 25% of each sale will be donated to the Derbyshire Bat Group too. So if you fancy a striking stand out piece of art, then follow the link

Charity Auction is underway

Here is my framed Brown Long-Eared Bat painting that I have donated to The Derbyshire Bat Group.

The frame gives a floating effect & measures 35cm x 65cm. The colours in it coordinate with my painting perfectly. I’m so pleased with the result

Brown long-eared bats are one of the most common bats in the British Isles but are rarely recorded due to their quiet echolocation calls which make them extremely difficult to pick up on bat detectors. They whisper their ultrasonic calls so that moths don’t hear them approaching and so they need their huge ears to listen for the echoes coming back in the dark.

This painting is now open for bidding until 8pm on Halloween at https://www.jumblebee.co.uk/derbyshirebats.

The auction is on behalf of the Derbyshire Bat Group which is a registered charity (number 1139339) working across Derbyshire to conserve & protect its bats and their environment.

Find out more about their work on their website: http://derbyshirebats.org.uk
